Maharashtra State Board Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) 2018

Folks let's talk about one of the primary board in Maharashtra is Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC). Usually in Maharashtra, after passed out 9th STD students have to appear 10th STD which Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) established in since 1965 Pune. These board contains 2 (Two) types of courses such as S.S.C and H.S.C (Higher Secondary Certificate), and prescribe as State Level Board Examination mostly examination held in Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Nasik and other parts of State. SSC exam conducts in 2 TWO languages English and Marathi, a minimum passing score is 35% out of 100. After 10 class student can also adopt simultaneously different PUC courses.

Subjects are mostly continuing of 9th class such as Common Languages English, Hindi, Marathi and Sanskrit and French are optional. In Science Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. History and Geography are mandatory.

Many students can attempt the SSC exam with academic courses from 8th STD which is known as Private SSC exam where student have to attempt all the courses from class 8 to class 10 but can attempt only exam of 10 to qualify for the further standard. The dates and timings of these students are same as regular coaching students.

Maharashtra state SSC board issues Hall Ticket, Date and Timings of Examination and also the SSC exam center for each student which may differ from their own school or institute. Mostly student is given centers nearby from the provided address but may they have to travel to longer distance if seats are not available.

The student must be an age of 17 or more.
Must be born in Maharashtra or else required domicile certificate.
