UPSC recruitment 2017 notification has been released on official website www.upsc.gov.in for the recruitment of total 04 (four) jobs out of which 01 (one) vacancies for Research Officer/Planning Officer, 01 (one) for Deputy Director Medical & Various vacancies. Job seekers should apply on or before 14th December 2017.

UPSC 2017 eligibility criteria

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Psychology or Commerce or Education of a recognized university or Equivalent for S.no-1. A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than the licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) for S.no – 2. Master’s Degree in Linguistics from a recognized University for S.no – 3. Masters’ degree in Political Science/History/Sociology Public Administration/ Geography/ Economics from a recognized University for S.no – 4.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 30 years S.no-1, 43 years for S.no-2, 40 years for S.no-3 & 45 years for S.no-4 as on 14.12.2017.

Nationality: Applicants should be:

1. a citizen of India, or
2. a subject of Nepal, or
3. a subject of Bhutan, or
4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Fee charges: Applicants who wanted to participate for UPSC should pay the below charges through either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.

• SC/ST/PH/Women: No Fee
• Others: Rs. 25/- (Rupee twenty-five only)
