All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)



AILET 2017: Exam Dates, Process, Eligibility, Pattern

All India Law Entrance Test is known as AILET 2017 exam a National level Paper based test conducted by NLU

National Law University. AILET test is also used for securing admission in B.A.LL.B contain, LL.M and Ph.D. Degree Programmes. Only English language is used for whole or part of the program.

AILET results will declare on 24th MAY 2017.  

AILET 2017 Eligibility Criteria 


 There are different terms and rules for different courses for AILET Exam such as:-

  •   For B.A.LL.B Candidates has to pass out 10+2 from recommended school scoring 50 % or more and also candidates who are appearing  12 th STD in the month of March or April are also eligible for the AILET Exam.
  •   Candidates should be age above 20 years and less than 25 years can appear for the AILET Exam.
  •   These all terms of criteria is applicable for 5 years program of B.A.LL.B.
  •   For LLM candidates should score more than 55% OR + in the exam of LLB. Candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April/May 2016 can also apply.
  •   For Ph.D., sounds like a Mastery in Doctor but also in the case of LAW studies word Ph.D. is also applicable for the studies of AILET. Candidates should score more than 55 % or + in Master's degrees in LAW from any recognized University.
  •   Also in Master’s Degree with MPhil candidates should score more than 50 % or + with the subjects of science and humanity.

AILET 2017 Application Process

For AILET Exam 2017 Admit Card:-

  •   AILET Exam 2017 Admit card is only available through online mode and candidates have to look up the date of issuing admit card.

  •   Only valid and proper admit card will allow candidates for LAW admission.

  •   Follow all the elements in the application of admit card and fill all the details properly and carefully because of errors and not permissible for admission.

AILET 2017 Exam Pattern


The duration of AILETExamm ticks till 1hrs and 30 mins mean the duration of exam is one hour and thirty minutes contains paper of 150 marks. The exam is distributed in 5 section with marks allotted each.


  •   English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning contains 35 questions each with 30 marks each and Mathematics contains 10 questions and 10 marks each. There are no negative marks while answering wrong.
